Billy Crystal, a comedian known for hosting the Oscars nine times and starring in iconic films such as “The Princess Bride,” “When Harry Met Sally…” and “Analyze This,” has been a fixture in the entertainment industry for 50 years. He was chosen to be a part of the 2019 class of the 46th annual ceremony.Kennedy Center Honorees, along with Renée Fleming, Barry Gibb, Queen Latifah and Dionne Warwick.
Crystal mentioned on “CBS Mornings” that she was ecstatic, or “on Cloud 12,” and joked that from that high up, one could even see the number nine.
The occasion marked a significant achievement in his career and also held special meaning for him, as he celebrated with his loved ones.
The 2023 Kennedy Center Honors will be broadcasted on CBS at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesday, December 27, and can also be streamed on Paramount+.
