Pat McAfee, a former punter in the NFL, has stated that Aaron Rodgers will not be making any more appearances on his ESPN show following the actions of the New York Jets player.recent comments made about comedian Jimmy Kimmel and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
McAfee announced on Wednesday that Rodgers, who is a regular guest on the “Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesdays, will not be appearing for the remainder of the season. It was not mentioned whether the quarterback, who is currently out for the rest of the NFL season, will make a return later in the year.
“So, Aaron Rodgers Tuesday season four is done,” he said. “There are going to be a lot of people happy with that, myself included, to be honest with you. The way it ended, it got real loud.”
It is possible that there is a connection between Kimmel and Epstein, who passed away while in jail for charges related to alleged sex trafficking and conspiracy. Kimmel vehemently denied any involvement and his name is not mentioned in the recently released documents pertaining to Epstein. On Monday, Kimmel addressed his recent disagreement with Rodgers at the start of his show and requested an apology from him. In response to this, Rodgers stated on Tuesday that he was relieved Kimmel’s name was not included on any list and did not apologize.
The “Pat McAfee Show” is part of ESPN while Jimmy Kimmel Live! is broadcasted on ABC. Both ABC and ESPN are owned by Disney.
In 2021, there was a exchange between the TV host and the quarterback regarding Rodgers’ choice to not receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Kimmel had previously called out Rodgers for misleading the public by claiming he was “immunized” against the virus. Later, Kimmel made a joke about Rodgers’ comments on McAfee’s show about UFO sightings being a diversion from Epstein’s client list.
In the past week, numerous documents were made public as part of a resolved civil lawsuit against British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell was convicted of working with Epstein to sexually exploit underage girls for over ten years. The lawsuit was brought by Virginia Giuffre, who claimed that Maxwell recruited her for abuse. Most of the information in the documents has already been reported, and many of the individuals named are not being accused of any illegal actions.
