The United States is expressing concern about a potential disaster, leading humanitarian organizations to brace for the worst as Israel prepares for a large-scale ground attack in Gaza’s southern city of Rafah. Over 1.5 million Palestinians have sought shelter in Rafah since the conflict began in October, following attacks by Hamas on October 7th.
