However, those interested in his renowned pieces can obtain a print for just a few cents. His highly sought-after portraits are sold for a minimal price. Deas has also designed a total of 25 stamps for the U.S. Postal Service.
He stated that his friend enjoys referring to him as the most well-known artist you’ve never heard of.
He is prohibited from signing the paintings that are used on stamps, which may prevent him from becoming widely recognized. However, his pieces feature famous American figures, making his collection impressive.
