Due to Jayson Boebert’s absence, no activity will be conducted until Monday.

After initially receiving a temporary protection order for domestic abuse on Feb. 2, Lauren Boebert later requested a permanent restraining order against her husband Jayson Boebert. However, on Monday, the judge dismissed the case for the permanent restraining order following Jayson’s arrest in two separate incidents a few weeks prior.

Jayson Boebert is being charged with three offenses in connection to the event: disorderly conduct, third-degree trespassing, and obstructing a peace officer.

The second occurrence took place around 1 a.m. on January 9 at a home outside of Silt, involving his 18-year-old child. During this incident, his child contacted authorities after Jayson Boebert reportedly assaulted him and took hold of a rifle. Boebert is currently facing charges for prohibited weapons use, harassment, and third-degree assault as a result of this incident.

Jayson Boebert, of Colorado, was taken into custody last month for multiple reported instances of theft and unlawful entry into vehicles. According to a Facebook statement from the Rifle Police Department, Tyler Boebert was apprehended last Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. and is facing five felony charges, including four counts of possessing falsified identification documents and one count of conspiring to commit a felony.

On Monday at the legal proceedings, it was disclosed that Tyler Boebert had petitioned for a protection order against his father, Jayson Boebert. The presiding judge outlined the stipulations of the protection order, which entail refraining from any threats or harassment, surrendering any weapons or firearms, and abstaining from alcohol. Contact between the two parties is not restricted. Jayson Boebert consented to the conditions and the judge approved the protection order. During the proceeding, Tyler Boebert’s legal counsel noted that he is currently residing with his father, Jayson Boebert.

Boebert is serving her second term as the Republican representative from Colorado’s 3rd District, although she recently announced she would be running in Colorado Congressional District 4 after facing a potentially tough reelection battle.
