According to an announcement from his family on Monday, famous vocalist Eric Carmen passed away at the age of 74. Carmen was known for his chart-topping hits such as “All by Myself” and “Hungry Eyes.”
Amy Carmen, his wife, shared a heartfelt message on his website about the passing of the former lead singer of the Raspberries.
“Sadly, our dear Eric passed away in his sleep during the weekend. He found great happiness in knowing that his music had touched countless lives over the years and will remain as his lasting mark. Love is the most important thing…always faithful and eternal”.

“Despite being widely recognized for crafting popular songs for the radio, such as “All By Myself” and other hits, Eric also had a deep passion for rock music,” stated Stanley. “His vocals skillfully blended elements of McCartney and Steve Marriott, and The Raspberries were a formidable live band. Personally, I was a huge fan of their records.”
