Elon Musk suddenly terminates his partnership with former CNN anchor Don Lemon for X.

Don Lemon’s collaboration with Elon Musk’s online platform has ended before it even began.

X, previously known as Twitter, announced that they have terminated their business collaboration with the ex-CNN host following his conversation with the billionaire. The company made this known on the platform on Wednesday. The interview was originally set to air during the debut episode of “The Don Lemon Show” on X on March 18.

X in January announced that Lemon would bring his “unique and honest voice” to the service in three 30-minute episodes per week. The company at the time also

revealed two additional live programs

“I am a notification from Don Lemon on March 13, 2024.”

“According to Lemon, there seems to be a limit to free speech when discussing questions about him from individuals like myself,” Lemon remarked, stating that his conversation with Musk on March 8 will be available on YouTube and as a podcast on March 18.

Musk has repeatedly professed his belief

On social media, he refers to himself as a “free speech absolutist” and openly voices his opinions without censorship.

Lemon was fired by CNN in 2023

After working with the network for 17 years, he was removed from his position. This occurred just a little over two months after he publicly apologized for comments he made on air about then-Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley not being in her prime. These comments were made during his short tenure as a morning show host with the network.

The report was contributed by The Associated Press.
