Celine Dion, a singer, gave an update on her condition of stiff-person syndrome with a photo of her and her three sons, which is rare.

Dion shared in her post that March 15 marked International Stiff-Person Syndrome Awareness Day. She expressed that battling stiff-person syndrome has been one of the most challenging experiences in her life.

Dion revealed in 2022 that she was diagnosed with the condition, explaining that it had affected her singing and mobility. She then cancelled all plans in May 2023.upcoming performance dates had announced

In December 2023, Claudette, the sister of Dion, disclosed to a French media outlet that the singer had made an announcement.

She no longer had the ability to control her muscles.. 

An irreversible neurological disorder that displays characteristics of an autoimmune disorder, as confirmed by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. The Genetic and Rare Diseases Information Center estimates that fewer than 5,000 individuals in the United States suffer from this condition.

“I am determined to return to the stage one day and live as normally as possible,” Dion stated. “I am incredibly thankful for the love and support of my children, family, team, and all of you!”

“I would like to extend my encouragement and support to all those who have been impacted by SPS worldwide,” expressed the celebrity. “It’s important for you to know that you are capable of overcoming it. Together, we can conquer it!”
