Washington — President Biden joked about

Donald Trump, the previous president.

During his remarks at the Gridiron Club Dinner in Washington D.C. on Saturday night, the speaker responded to criticisms about his age by redirecting them towards the previous president as the general election begins. However, he also used the platform to raise awareness about the serious issue of threats to freedom and democracy both domestically and globally.

At the yearly banquet, Mr. Biden addressed a large group of journalists and officials, stating that the two nominees had secured their party’s nomination for the presidential race. He expressed concern that one of the candidates may be too advanced in age and not mentally capable of serving as president.

“Me in another form,” he joked.

The speaker urged Putin to do as he wished with NATO allies who fail to meet defense spending requirements.

The president expressed concern about the infringement of freedom within our own country, specifically mentioning voting rights and abortion. He cautioned that the danger observed during the attempt to overturn the 2020 election still exists, describing it as a destructive force within the foundations of our democracy.

At the previous year’s dinner, there was a similarly solemn atmosphere as former Vice President Mike Pence gave what was considered his most forceful criticism of the previous president.

It is expected that Donald Trump will be held responsible in the future for refusing to accept the results of the election.
