The candidate campaigned for Bernie Moreno in Ohio and expressed concern for Social Security, stating there would be severe consequences if they do not win the November election.

Trump, who gave a speech at a windy airport near Dayton on Saturday, commended his selected candidate in the election as a “champion of putting America first” and a “political newcomer who has dedicated their entire life to developing Ohio communities.”

“I am confident that he will be a strong leader in Washington,” stated Trump, just a few days after ensuring enough delegates to win the 2024 nomination for the Republican Party.

Trump stated that the Democrat’s treatment of him is unfair and fabricated. He expressed his support for the man in question, whom he described as a hero and a winner. Trump also shared his determination to not allow these “sick” individuals to continue their actions.

The Associated Press stated on Thursday that a profile was made on an adult website in 2008 using Moreno’s work email account. It could not be determined if Moreno himself created the profile. Moreno’s attorney claims the profile was created by a former intern, Dan Ricci, as a “juvenile prank.”

Some GOP members have been asking about the profile for the past month, causing concern among experienced Republican strategists about Moreno’s potential weakness in a possible election. Seven individuals who are knowledgeable about discussions on how to handle the situation have shared this information, but wish to remain anonymous out of fear of going against Trump and his supporters.

During his speech, Trump also claimed that Mr. Biden’s statements could potentially harm Social Security. This comes after Trump had to clarify his remarks from an interview where he seemed to suggest he was open to reducing the program.

He cautioned of a second term under Biden, saying that Social Security will be depleted. However, Biden has promised to safeguard and improve Social Security despite the expected budget deficit. He stated that having this person as our leader will result in the ruin of our country’s economy, which also includes Medicare. This will greatly impact older Americans.

He declared a commitment to uphold Social Security and Medicare, promising to never make any cuts to these programs.

After Trump’s interview with CNBC, he received comments regarding his response to a question about Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. He stated that there are many possibilities for reforming entitlement programs, including cutting costs and addressing issues of fraud and mismanagement.

President Trump persistently attacked Biden for his approach to immigration and the situation with migrants at the border. He also verbally attacked Dolan, labeling him a “weak RINO” (a supposed Republican who doesn’t adhere to Republican principles) and claimed he was attempting to follow in the footsteps of Mitt Romney. Additionally, Trump voiced disapproval towards the Dolan family, who holds ownership of the Cleveland baseball franchise, for their decision to rebrand the team as the Cleveland Guardians, previously known as the Cleveland Indians.

At the rally, Trump was accompanied by Ohio Senator JD Vance and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem. Both Vance and Noem have campaigned with Moreno and are seen as possible contenders for the vice presidential position.
