Kevin James had a successful nine-year stint as the lead actor in the CBS show “The King of Queens” and also appeared in the top-grossing film “Paul Blart: Mall Cop.” However, his true passion lies in stand-up comedy, which he developed while working at comedy clubs on Long Island. In an interview with correspondent Jim Axelrod, James reflects on his failed audition for “Saturday Night Live” and explains his continued dedication to stand-up, which is showcased in his Amazon Prime special, “Kevin James: Irregardless.”
