David Soul, known for his role as Detective Ken “Hutch” Hutchinson in the hit TV series “Starsky and Hutch” from the 1970s, has passed away at the age of 80 according to a statement released by his wife.

Helen Snell, the wife of Soul, announced on Friday that her husband passed away on Thursday after bravely fighting for his life with the support of his family.

Snell stated that the individual shared numerous exceptional talents with the world, including acting, singing, storytelling, and creating art. He was also a beloved friend. The memories of his smile, laughter, and zest for life will live on in the hearts of those he has influenced.
