The Danish artist, Thomas Dambo, specializes in recycling and uses discarded wood and scraps from dumps to make enormous art pieces featuring trolls – mystical beings. Dambo has installed these sculptures in 17 countries. In an interview with correspondent Lee Cowan, Dambo discusses his creation of Oscar the Bird King, a hidden artwork in the forests of Vashon Island, close to Seattle. He also explains how his sculptures integrate seamlessly with the surrounding environment.
