During an interview with “Extra,” Parton praised her as a “great artist.”
According to Parton, she is an amazing young lady who has been facing tough challenges recently.

In a 2022 interview with the San Diego Union-Tribune, King, who is known for her bold personality, discussed the differences between performing while intoxicated and performing while sober.
“I have experienced performing in both ways and they are distinct,” she stated. “The saying ‘liquid courage’ exists for a reason. How many jobs provide you with bottles of alcohol in your dressing room? Not many.”
She confessed to enjoying drinking and singing, but stated that she no longer wants to get as intoxicated as she did in the past.
