Entertainment Tonight reported that Giselle Bündchen, a Brazilian model, posted a heartfelt tribute to her mother Vânia Nonnenmacher on Tuesday. Nonnenmacher passed away at the age of 75 on January 28th after battling cancer.
“My dear mother, it pains me to think that I can no longer embrace you, but I find solace in knowing that you will always be watching over us,” expressed Bündchen in a heartfelt post on Instagram in both Portuguese and English. “You were a true angel on this earth, always lending a helping hand to those around you. I am immensely grateful to be your daughter and to have learned from your example.”
Bündchen shared several photographs of her mother and family over the course of many years.

Despite this, she holds no ill will towards her ex-husband and is thankful for the children they share. She believes that even when one door closes, new opportunities arise.
