Katy Perry surprised her supporters when she announced her departure from “American Idol” after serving as a judge for seven years on the popular singing show.
The 39-year-old singer revealed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night that she will be leaving “Idol” after this Sunday’s episode on ABC.
Perry stated that she believes this will most likely be her final season and her final appearance on “Idol.”
