Kingsley Ben-Adir is recognized for his versatile performances, ranging from his portrayal of past President Barack Obama to his role as a Ken doll in the “Barbie” film. Currently, he tackles the task of embodying reggae icon Bob Marley in the highly anticipated biography “Bob Marley: One Love.”

Taking place in the 1970s, the movie delves into the consequences of an attack on Marley and depicts his transformation into using music as a means to bring Jamaica together.

At first, Ben-Adir expressed reluctance in taking on the role of Marley because he lacked singing and guitar abilities, and he is not of Jamaican descent.
