The reason for the death of 32-year-old Dex Carvey, son of Dana Carvey, has been disclosed.
On Tuesday, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office announced that Dex Carvey, the oldest child of comedian Dana Carvey and his wife Paula Zwagerman, passed away due to an unintentional drug overdose.

According to the report, at 32 years old, the individual consumed a mixture of fentanyl, ketamine, and cocaine.
The parents of Dex Carvery announced a statement following his passing, expressing that their child had a multitude of talents and pursued them all with great passion, including music, art, film making, and comedy.

The individual stated that they would be taking a hiatus from social media in order to adjust to their new life as a family of three. They expressed gratitude for the support and empathy shown by others after the passing of Dex Carvey. They also mentioned that their family will continue to move forward and heal in the way that Dex would have wanted.
According to IMDB, Dex, a comedian in his own league, did stand-up performances and collaborated with his father. He also starred in the TV programs “Beyond the Comics,” “Carpool Pandering,” and “The Funster.”
Dana Carvey and Zwagerman have a 30-year-old son named Thomas Carvey who is younger.
