Police have reported that a woman from Florida, aged 27, died in her cabin while on a cruise to the Bahamas. The Royal Bahamas Police Force is currently looking into the incident and an autopsy will be carried out to determine the cause of death.
According to a statement from the agency on Tuesday, authorities on Grand Bahama Island were informed on Monday that a woman aboard an unspecified cruise ship, traveling to the West Indies, was discovered unconscious in her cabin.
According to the authorities, the ship’s medical staff administered CPR to the female individual. Unfortunately, their efforts were unsuccessful and she was pronounced deceased.
