According to an administration official who spoke to CBS News, the previous year saw a plan to protect numerous Palestinians residing in the United States from being deported.
Mr. Biden’s statement highlighted the decline in humanitarian conditions, particularly in Gaza, following the terrorist attacks carried out by Hamas on October 7th and the resulting military actions by Israel that have resulted in the loss of thousands of Palestinian lives.
