The Israeli government has announced that it will cease the operations of UNRWA, the United Nations agency responsible for Palestinian refugees in Gaza, once the conflict between Israel and Hamas is resolved. This decision follows accusations from Israel that some UNRWA employees were involved in a terrorist attack on October 7th, which resulted in numerous casualties and led to the outbreak of the war.
