As the month of Ramadan begins and a ceasefire has not been achieved in Gaza, there is increased tension in both Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories. The Israeli authorities are preventing worshippers from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem, particularly those from the Israeli-controlled West Bank.
