Okta is utilized by major corporations like FedEx, Hewlett Packard, T-Mobile, and Paramount (parent company of CBS News) to safeguard entry to their technology platforms.
According to Okta, they have approximately 17,000 clients and oversee approximately 50 billion users as of March.
Okta’s stock price dropped 2.5% to $70.77 on Wednesday.
According to IBM, the average cost of a data breach in the United States has increased by over 15% this year, reaching $4.5 million compared to last year’s $3.9 million.
