Kate Cox, a mother of two from the Dallas area, recently discovered that her baby has trisomy 18, a chromosomal disorder that typically leads to either stillbirth or the early passing of an infant. In response, the Center for Reproductive Rights has filed an urgent lawsuit on behalf of Cox and her husband.
On Thursday, Judge Maya Guerra Gamble of Travis County determined that Cox has the right to end the pregnancy.
