Dominican authorities have taken rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine into custody for alleged domestic violence charges.

The individual, who is set to go to court on Thursday for accusations of domestic violence.
The rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernández
According to officials, the individual was apprehended on Wednesday and is currently detained at a prison in the capital city of Santo Domingo.
Currently, there is no additional information accessible and it is not immediately evident if Hernández has legal representation.
The individual was accused in the United States of employing a dangerous gang as a “personal kill team,” but he managed to evade jail time by testifying against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, a gang active on the East Coast. The judge at the time classified him as…likely danger
The community detained him and kept him in custody without bail while he faced charges of racketeering and possession of firearms.
