Barry Gibb, known for his incredible success as a songwriter, was recently honored at the 2020 BMI Awards.Kennedy Center Honors along with Billy Crystal, Renée Fleming, Queen Latifah and Dionne Warwick.  

Gibb chuckled as he asked, “I’m not sure why…why are you bestowing this upon me?” But he expressed his pride nonetheless.

Gibb, a member of the legendary group The Bee Gees, has crafted an enduring legacy in the world of popular music. With a career spanning decades, he’s known for his profound lyrics and captivating melodies. 

The 2023 Kennedy Center Honors will be broadcasted on CBS at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesday, December 27 and will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
