Unfortunately, actor Adan Canto, famous for his performances in “Designated Survivor” and “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” passed away on Monday following a struggle with cancer.
Jennifer Allen, his publicist stated on Tuesday to CBS News that he was 42 years old.
“According to Allen, Adan possessed a profound spirit that was only known by a select few. Those who caught a glimpse of it were forever transformed.”
Canto, who was born in Mexico and grew up in Texas, was a multi-talented performer known for his skills as a singer, director, and actor. He first appeared on American TV in 2013 on the popular show “The Following” and later took on various roles in both television and film.
Recently, he appeared in the hit Netflix series “Narcos” and had a leading role in the third season of the Fox show “The Cleaning Lady,” currently in production.

“I am at a loss for words…but my beloved friend Adan has passed away. He will always hold a special place in my heart,” she expressed.
Canto’s wife, Stephanie Ann Canto, and his two young children, Roman Alder and Eve Josephine, are the ones who will continue to live on after him.
