Isabella shared that she began experiencing headaches at the beginning of her freshman year of college in the fall, but initially thought it was just vertigo. However, her symptoms worsened significantly in late October 2023.
She stated, “I most likely woke up around 1 p.m. and I really didn’t want to get out of bed. However, I started throwing up blood and that made me concerned. I reached out to my sister and she informed the rest of our family.”

I am aware that she is struggling, but I have faith that we are never given challenges beyond our capabilities and that she will overcome this.
What is medulloblastoma?
According to the Mayo Clinic, medulloblastoma is a type of brain tumor that originates in the lower posterior region of the brain. While it is not common, it is the most prevalent malignant brain tumor in children. The standard treatment for medulloblastoma typically involves a combination of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.
