Scripts from the TV show “Friends” that were discarded many years ago in London are now being sold at an auction.

The scripts for “The One With Ross’s Wedding” on the TV show “Friends” have an interesting backstory.

Hansons Auctioneers announced this week that the scripts, which were discarded in a London trash can 25 years ago, will be up for auction. The collection includes the season four finale of the 1998 episodes, which follows Ross, Monica, Joey, Chandler, and Rachel on their trip to England for Ross’ wedding.

According to the auction house, once filming was completed, the cast and crew were instructed to dispose of their copies of the scripts in order to prevent the storyline from being revealed before the episodes aired. However, it seems that a retired staff member from the TV studio where the shows were filmed discovered a pair of scripts, as explained by Hansons.
