Recently, it was disclosed that right before the holiday season, he underwent “urgent surgery” to extract a tumor from his brain. In a post on Facebook, he expressed gratitude to his “amazing medical staff” for the successful operation.

“I am currently recovering at my residence, surrounded by an overwhelming amount of love and support from my family,” he stated. He mentioned that over the next few months, he will be devoting his efforts towards getting better and will have to take a brief hiatus from performing.

“I find it incredibly difficult to let down my supporters or reschedule a performance, but rest assured, I am putting in maximum effort to speed up my healing process and return to the stage as soon as possible,” he stated.
