On Sunday night, he was taken into custody while wearing handcuffs. The reason for his arrest was not immediately known, but the Los Angeles Police Department later disclosed information about the minor offenses.

In a video posted on X by Chris Gardner of The Hollywood Reporter, the rapper known as “Run The Jewels” was observed being guided through Crypto.com Arena by law enforcement officers.

The Los Angeles Police Department announced on their social media that the musician was apprehended due to a “physical confrontation” at the 700 block of Chick Hearn Court. However, no specifics were given regarding the timing or nature of the altercation.

Nominated for the categories of Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Album for his self-titled 2023 studio album “Michael.”

He went on stage to receive them during the pre-broadcast portion of the Grammys ceremony.

Killer Mike’s recent wins at the Grammys on Sunday, beating out big names like Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Nicki Minaj, marked his first Grammy victories in more than two decades. He had previously been awarded Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group at the 45th Grammy Awards for his work on Outkast’s song “The Whole World.”

“He exclaimed in jubilation as he pranced around the stage with his third Grammy of the night, declaring that age and time cannot hinder the realization of dreams!”
