Reality TV personality Anna Cardwell, also known as “Chickadee” from the show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” passes away at the age of 29.
Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, the offspring of Mama June Shannon, a famous reality TV personality, passed away at 29 years old due to complications related to stage four adrenal carcinoma.
On Sunday, Shannon shared on Instagram that her daughter passed away at home on December 9.
“Sadly, we must inform you that [Cardwell] has passed away,” the author shared in a post featuring a picture of their family. “She peacefully left us last night at 11:12 PM in my home. After a courageous 10-month battle, she passed away surrounded by her loved ones. We will provide further updates as they become available.”

Alana Thompson, also known as “Honey Boo Boo,” shared a sincere tribute to her older sister, saying that Cardwell was surrounded by loved ones during her last moments.
Thompson shared on Instagram that this post is one he would rather not have to write. Last night, we gathered around Anna with love and reassured her that it was alright to pass on. Sadly, around 11pm, Anna took her final breath. She was in great pain last night, but now, as a family, we find solace in knowing that she is finally at peace.
She said, “The sky appears slightly altered today.” “Anna, we will forever hold you in our hearts.”
