The nominations for the top achievements in the film and television industry were revealed by Cedric “The Entertainer” and Wilmer Valderrama, with streaming the event live. 10 of the categories were also announced on “CBS Mornings.”

The 2024 Golden Globe Awards will be held on Sunday, January 7th, from 8 to 11 p.m. ET and will be shown live on NBC.

Under a newly established agreement between the Golden Globes and the network, the ceremony will now be accessible for streaming on both Paramount+ and the CBS app. Paramount Global, the parent corporation of CBS, is involved in this partnership.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, responsible for organizing the Globes and deciding on nominees and winners, has faced boycotts due to accusations of racism and ethical issues.

Dick Clark Productions currently owns and oversees the production of the Golden Globe Awards. The nominees and recipients are determined by a voting panel consisting of 300 individuals representing 75 different countries.

This year, the Golden Globes will introduce two new categories: one for outstanding achievements in film and box office success, and another for best performance by a stand-up comedian on television.

The current time frame for qualification is from January 1st to December 31st. This means that films and series released during this period are eligible for consideration.
