The Department of Justice has reached an agreement with the state of New York to implement reforms in response to allegations against Governor Cuomo.

The Department of Justice has determined that former Governor Cuomo committed sexual harassment against state employees.

The Department of Justice has determined that ex-governor Cuomo committed sexual harassment against employees of the state.

A resolution has been reached between the Justice Department and New York State to implement a set of changes aimed at safeguarding women from unwelcoming sexual work environments.

The resolution is a result of the accusations of sexual misconduct that ultimately resulted in the downfall of former Governor Andrew Cuomo.

many calls for him to resign

After facing allegations of sexual harassment, Cuomo was pressured to step down from his position as governor.

Eleven women are accusing him.

The Department of Justice now claims that the previously identified individuals, who were not officially employed by the state, were just a small portion of a larger issue.

The state of New York and the United States Justice Department have come to an agreement on implementing improvements.

Governor Kathy Hochul stated that upon assuming her position, she promptly implemented measures to guarantee a secure working environment.

“As soon as I assumed my position, I recognized the importance of addressing the issue of harassment within the Executive Chamber. My top priority was implementing effective policies to create a safe and respectful work environment for all employees. I am grateful that the U.S. Department of Justice has recognized the significance of our actions and I am eager to collaborate with them as we strive for further progress,” stated Hochul.

Lindsey Boylan, one of Governor Cuomo’s accusers, expressed that she and other women experienced these events and were subsequently faced with a bureaucratic cover-up when they spoke out. She vows to never allow herself or other women to be harmed in such a manner by anyone or any institution again.

Cuomo’s lawyer maintained that his client did not engage in any sexual harassment.

The Department of Justice’s “inquiry” was solely conducted using the New York State Attorney General’s flawed, incorrect, prejudiced, and deceptive findings, stated Rita Glavin, lawyer for Cuomo.

We anticipate that this agreement with the Department of Justice will result in long-term improvements to prevent any other women from experiencing the same suffering as our client, Charlotte Bennett, has endured. These are the words of Bennett’s lawyer representing her in the case against Cuomo.

Many individuals in Cuomo’s inner circle claimed that it was a “resolution without a formal inquiry.”

According to Rich Azzopardi, a spokesperson for Cuomo, the agreement is not as valuable as the paper it is written on.
