The recent escalation of violence in Israel’s northern region, the most severe in two decades, has heightened the risk of a potential war. On Saturday, the Lebanese militant organization Hezbollah launched over 60 rockets into Israel in retaliation for the killing of a high-ranking Hamas leader in Beirut earlier this week. In response, Israel conducted airstrikes in southern Lebanon. Ian Lee provides updates from Tel Aviv.
