This displays the emissions surrounding a rapidly moving young star that will eventually develop into a celestial object similar to the sun.

According to NASA, the picture depicts a star with Herbig-Haro objects in its vicinity. These objects are bright areas that emerge near newly formed stars, created when gusts of gas or jets of gas generate shock waves upon impact with surrounding particles of gas and dust at high velocities. The agency announced this information in a press release on Thursday.

The picture displays a sequence of impacts towards the southeast and northwest (the bottom left and top right sections of the picture) resembling vibrant plumes stretching in both directions.
