The space shuttle Endeavour was lifted into an upright position for public display.
On Monday, the decommissioned Endeavour space shuttle was lifted into position for public viewing in Los Angeles. The spacecraft, attached to the external boosters that assisted in launching it into Earth’s atmosphere, is the first to be exhibited in an upright stance as if it were ready for takeoff.
