A recently developed mobile application, “Beeper Mini,” enables Android phones to send text messages to iPhones using the signature blue iMessage bubble, previously only available on Apple devices. Jo Ling Kent spoke with the 16-year-old technology prodigy who successfully reverse engineered Apple’s iMessage platform in order to develop the app.
