Tributes for the actor of “Friends” continued to be expressed.

This past weekend, Perry, most recognized for playing Chandler Bing on the popular sitcom from the 1990s, died Saturday at 54 years old.

At 51 years old, a person known as Perry posted a picture of a younger version of themselves on Instagram and reminisced about a special summer they shared in the early stages of their careers. They revealed that they first crossed paths in 1993 at the Williamstown Theater Festival in Massachusetts, where they spent the majority of the season performing in plays.

She expressed, “He had a great sense of humor and was very kind. Spending time with him was enjoyable and memorable. We went on drives to swim in creeks, had drinks at the nearby college bar, and shared kisses in a field of tall grass.”

In a 2015 interview, the speaker expressed surprise at being approached by individuals who were not yet born when the show was filmed, commenting on how old they thought the person appeared.

In his memoir titled “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing,” published in 2022, Perry recounted a short encounter with Gwyneth Paltrow in a closet during the summer before the premiere of “Friends.” In an interview with GQ, he expressed his hope that she would view it as a charming anecdote.

Perry struggled with substance abuse for a considerable amount of time, even during his successful stint on “Friends.” He openly shared about the negative impact it had on his life in his memoir.
