On Monday, a jury in Manhattan returned a guilty verdict for actor Jonathan Majors for assaulting and harassing his former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.

The jury spent a total of six hours over the course of three days deliberating and carefully examined conflicting stories regarding the events that took place both inside and outside an SUV on Canal Street on the evening of March 25.

The jury submitted multiple requests to review video evidence, receive clarification on charges, and have testimony re-read before reaching a guilty verdict on two out of the four charges against Majors.

She noticed a loving message from a different woman on his phone and snatched it.

The jurors were presented with photographs that were verified by medical professionals to show Jabbari’s fractured finger and cut ear. Jabbari claimed that Majors caused these injuries while trying to get his phone back.

Jabbari’s legal team argued that he was the one who initiated the altercation and that the only thing that was broken in the SUV was Grace’s heart.

The defense presented footage of Jabbari enjoying a night out at Loosie’s Nightclub shortly after with people she met on the street. They also played the recording of Majors’ 911 call when he was unable to reach Jabbari the following morning.

Police officers from the New York City Police Department discovered Jabbari in the closet of their apartment in Chelsea. The officers reported that she appeared to be confused and was only wearing a shirt.

There was no recorded footage inside the SUV, only the driver’s account of Jabbari being the one who initiated the conflict.

The jury determined that there was sufficient proof to charge Majors with two offenses: reckless assault and harassment.

The judge scheduled Majors’ sentencing for February 6th and issued a fresh restraining order, prohibiting him from communicating with his former partner, Grace Jabbari. He could potentially serve a maximum of one year in jail.

Majors was present for every day of the trial, but did not testify.
