After working as a midwife, Graham Ottoson, an artist from Ithaca, New York, now creates art using gourds. This includes sculptures, lamps, and other objects made from gourds. Correspondent Martha Teichner visits the gallery Gourdlandia to see some of Ottoson’s beautiful gourd pieces and also attempts to carve her own gourd creation.
