Authorities reported that a female from Brazil was detained at a Bogota airport on Monday for trying to transport 130 toxic dart frogs out of Colombia.

According to a statement from Colombia’s environment ministry, a woman was taken into custody at El Dorado International Airport while traveling to São Paulo, Brazil through Panama.

Upon inspecting her luggage, officials discovered the toxic frogs concealed within film canisters.
