According to a source, 76-year-old Schwarzenegger was held at the airport in Germany for three hours. He was scheduled to auction off a watch at his charity event in Kitzbuhel, Austria on Thursday.
As per a press release, Schwarzenegger will be making an appearance at a fundraiser for The Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative, which provides support for environmental projects worldwide.
The customs spokesperson informed CBS News that there is an ongoing investigation into potential tax evasion as part of a criminal procedure.
