The border between Gaza and Egypt was opened on Wednesday, a first since the start of the Israel-Hamas conflict on October 7th. This was to facilitate the evacuation of approximately 500 foreign nationals from Gaza and to provide medical treatment in Egypt for some severely injured Palestinians. According to diplomatic sources, the evacuations were arranged by the U.S. and Qatar. Charlie D’Agata reports on the latest developments.
